Helen Elizabeth King, a resident of Baton Rouge, La, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012, she was 93 years old. She was a member of Lanier Baptist Church and a former long- time member of Brookstown Baptist Church. She loved gardening, working in her yard and collecting dolls. She is survived by: her son, Jesse L. King, Jr. and wife Belinda; daughter, Patricia K. Bezet and husband Curt, Sr.; grandchildren: Marshall B. King and wife, Angela Minton; Jay R. King and wife, Wendi; Matthew Patterson and wife, Laura; Chuck Bezet and wife, Trish and Jeremy L. Bezet; great-grandchildren: Lela Minton, Sara Elizabeth King, Noah, Sofia and Elias Patterson, Savannah Bezet and Emily Dupepe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse L. King, Sr. and granddaughter Amy Elizabeth King. Visitation and funeral services will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA. Visitation Friday, October 5, 2012 from 5pm - 8pm with funeral services Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 2pm. Interment at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
