

Helen Keller Sanches, 88, a native of Morgan City and resident of Baton Rouge passed away peacefully Monday, April 15, 2013. She was a caring, giving person who loved her family and friends. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church. Helen "Penguin" was a great cook and liked playing cards and bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband E. A. "Gene" Sanches, Jr., parents John Henry Keller and Clara Blanchard Keller, and 4 brothers and 5 sisters and infant granddaughter Renee Lee Raudabaugh. She is survived by son Charles E Sanches Sr. (Cheryl), daughters Janell Weber (Jesse) and Mary Raudabaugh (Randy), 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. We are all saddened by her death, but rejoice with her for she is with the Lord. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and resumes Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Chuck, Chip and Michael Sanches and Brian, Brent, and Blair Weber, Brad and David Raudabaugh, Stephen Tyson, and Steven Thomas.
