Nor shall the flame scorch you. 3 For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior. Hildred Faye "Boots" Wideman known to most in her community as Ms. Wideman. She shared her love of musical education by teaching piano to the community. She was also ever present in her work at the J.E.B Stuart Post Auxiliary. "Boots" was born in Jasper, Alabama but her roots and residence were laid in Baton Rouge. Ms. Wideman passed away at the age of 83 in the early morning of October 7, 2016. Visitation will be Friday October 14, 2016 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home 11000 Florida Blvd from 9:00 "“ 11:00 AM until service time that will be conducted by Dr. David Goza. Burial will follow at Green Oaks Cemetery. She is survived by her loving son Jerry Allen Wideman, daughter Linda Faye Wideman Brandt, Daughter in law Wendy West Wideman, son in law Richard Brandt, sister in law Barbra Wideman Argent, brother in law Clay Argent grandsons Ronald Norris Walton, Hunter Wideman, Grandaughters Cynthia Ilean Walton Murry, Shelby Simoneaux, Brenda Danielle Crotwell, Step grandchildren Josh Fink, Jocelyn Brandt O'neil, Justin Brandt, Amy Albarracin Wall, Denise Albarracin Carter, Frank Albarracin Jr., Greg Albarracin, great grandchildren Jeffery Albarracin, Bryce Albarracin, Kain Erwin, Tevin Cherrier, Luke Walton, Kelsey Johnson, Natalyn Crotwell, Abigail Crotwell, Faith Walton, Brenley Ann Murry, Gabrielle Crotwell, Analeigh Aurelia Murry Robert C. Murry IV, Jasey Anna Simoneaux, Emerson Crotwell, Grandson in laws Robert C. Murry III, Jason Simoneaux, William Crotwell. Preceded in death by her husband her rock her soul mate Rudolph Wideman, parents Cynthia Ilean and Charles Johnson, an uncle Leroy Williamson, her mother in law Wynona Hudgins, her daughter Brenda Faye Wideman Albarracin. Amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, neighbor and teacher. Special thanks to her primary care physician who loved and cared for her Dr. Christopher Lee and staff. Sincere thank you to the amazing sitters who loved for her daily Deborah (Debbie), Mendy, Theresa, Deloris and Ms. Pearl. Pall bearers Ronald Walton, Hunter Wideman, Luke Walton, Robert C.
