Irving Joseph Ardoin, Sr., a native of Ville Platte, LA and a resident of Central, LA., passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2017 at the age of 82. He was preceded in death by his son, Irving Joseph Ardoin, Jr. and his parents Merrick Ardoin and Estella West Ardoin. Irving is survived by his wife Audrey F. Ardoin of Central; three sons, Jimmy L. Ardoin of Walker, Karl A. Ardoin, Sr. and wife Karen C. Ardoin of Central and Kenneth J. Ardoin, Sr. of Plaquemine; twelve grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Dianna Terrance for all the love and care she gave throughout his illness. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 5 pm - 9 pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 8:30 am until funeral service begins at 10 am. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
