J Webb Taylor

A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA, he passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021, at his home. J Webb was an avid golfer, loved to travel, and spend special time with Clark at the lake house. He was a proud graduate of BRHS and LSU. He recently celebrated his 82nd birthday and lived a full and courageous life. He is survived by his wife, Nora T. Taylor; stepsons, Stephen (Dana) and Christopher (Heather) Lacombe; grandchildren, Brittany (Marshall), Alexandra (Jesse), Jade (Gov) and McKinnin; five beloved great-grandchildren; loving and devoted sisters-in-law, Shirley Taylor, Peggy Scalise, Jean Rivet and Helen Taylor; brother-in-law, Bob Tippit (Carol); and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sincerely missed by family and friends, especially devoted friend and lifelong golfing buddy, O.T. Smith. J Webb is preceded in death by his daughter, Stacey Lynn Taylor; parents, Clark William Taylor and Alice Brown Taylor; brothers, James "Jimmy" Taylor and Clark W. Taylor; and his beloved and special companion, Scooter.

Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, January 25, 2021, from 10:00AM until the time of funeral services at 12:00PM. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all medical personnel, especially Dr. Bradley Meek, Dr. Kelly Schmeeckle and Dr. Freddie Abi-Samra for all the special care given to J Webb over the years.
