

Jack was born on August 13, 1961 in New Orleans, the son of Duane and Dolores Daigle Carr.
Jack graduated from Belaire High, where he was an athlete who excelled at football and wrestling. As a senior, he won the Louisiana state wrestling championship in the 167 lb weight class.
Jack married Laura Levraea in 1986 and were blessed with the birth of their son, Joshua (Josh) Carr.
Jack worked for the Baton Rouge Water Company for many years, before starting his own home inspecting business and following years of study, became a homeopathic doctor.
Jack was a frequent traveler to the Pacific Northwest from early on in life and into adulthood. Oregon always had a special place in his heart. Jack also found a love of white-water rafting. He took many rafting trips with family and friends. He even rafted the Nantahala River with his son while it was snowing.
Jack is survived by his son, Josh (Nicolette), granddaughter Charlie, grandson Cooper, father Duane, brother Kenny (Judy), and nephews Tyler and Landon (Sarah).
Preceding Jack in death is his mother, Dolores (Dee) Carr, brother Alan Ray, and grandmother Dorothy Douglas.

A memorial will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. on Friday, August 1 from 4:00-6:00 pm.
