

Jack Warner Riffle, a native of Aurora, CO and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Thursday, June 4th, 2015 at the age of 45. Jack was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed anything LSU, entertaining guests, cooking, traveling, camping, giving great hugs, coaching children in numerous sports, and being a Life Scout. Jack was known for being a kind and gentle spirit with a loving smile. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from LSU, Juris Doctorate from Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU, and his MBA from LSU. He was a prominent attorney in Baton Rouge. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Elizabeth Piper Riffle; children, Bella and Brennan Riffle; his father, John Riffle and his wife, Bev; his mother, Gail Riffle; sister, Marsha Riffle Henry and husband, Kevin; brother, Travis Riffle and his girlfriend, Jodi; brother-in-law, Darin Raaf; nephews, Pierson Henry and Nathan Henry; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jack was preceded in death by his brother, David Riffle; and his paternal and maternal grandparents. Jack will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 9th, 2015 from 5 p.m. until a Memorial Service at 8 p.m. Interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the memory of Jack’s brother, David, to the American Cancer Society.
