She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 67 years, Frank Morat O’Quinn. They were married on January 10, 1952, and together they raised eight children: Mary Werk (Ingo), Frank J. “Butch” (Beth), Michael (Anne), Patrick (Lillie), Elizabeth “Lizette” Kummrow (Jack), Robert (Dawn), Lucie Brant (Stan), and Melanie Samaha (Brent). Jackie was preceded in death by parents Elvin Guidry and Clothilde Thevenet Guidry; brother Charles “Buddy” Guidry and sister-in-law Geraldine “Dee” Roy Guidry; brothers-in-law James “Jimmy” O’Quinn, Leonard “Lenny” Robichaux and Bruce Sheldon; and by two infant grandchildren. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Margaret Ann Sheldon and Frances Corrine Robichaux; and by two brothers-in-law, Ed “Boothie” O’Quinn (Robyn) and Milton David O'Quinn (Theresa). “Mama O,” as she was known to her grandchildren, is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 67 years, Frank Morat O’Quinn.
