Long Hospital administrative assistant and resident of Central, Jane Culpepper passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016. She was 74 and a native of Crowley. Jane is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jimmy Culpepper; son, Lane Culpepper; and a brother, Jim Lewis. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Hinman; and mother and step-father, Genevieve and Cecil Lewis. Jane enjoyed many outdoor activities especially camping and fishing and loved her needlepoint. Jane's family appreciates the kindness and compassion of Dr. Gerald Miletello, the chemo nurses, the infusion nurses and the hospital staff shown during her illness. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 from 3 pm until 8 pm with a religious service at 6 pm conducted by Rev. Mike Ferguson.
