Children, as most of you know, my friendship with Jackie goes back to 1950 when we were roommates in an LSU dormitory. She caught the bridal bouquet at my wedding —Huntington was her friend from high school.
We shared our Catholic religion, attending the same church and taking dozens of bible study classes together. As different as we were in personality, we were amazingly alike in our thinking about the important things in life.
How sad it is that this virus prevents our getting together to celebrate her wonderful life.

Jackie was dear to me and I cherish the memories of our friendship, dinners, and conversations. During our recent phone call, she told me how pleased she was that her family was growing and gave me an update on all of her grand and great grandchildren. She loved each member of her family so much and was so proud of each of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love,
Trish
