Jean H."Mama Jean"Day

A resident of Rosenberg, TX, Jean H. Day was born on May 23, 1935 in Anguilla, MS and passed away on February 12, 2016 in Richmond, TX. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, James E. Day; two daughters, Beverly Graeber of Rosenberg, TX and Amy McCown of Dallas, TX; four sons, Roger Sinclair of Needville, TX, Dorman Sinclair of Zachary, Frankie Sinclair of Baton Rouge, and Jimmy Day of Troy, IL; two sisters, Alice Donham of Wayside, MS and Barbara Clifton of Gonzales; twenty grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Susan Elizabeth Johnson and Herman Monroe McGee; son, Robbie Sinclair; three sisters, Amy E. Smith, Katherine Bixler and Louise Hansen; and two brothers, Herman Monroe McGee and Cecil Clyde McGee. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East Chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Tuesday, February 16, from 5 pm until 8 pm and resumes on Wednesday, February 17, from 8:30 am until religious services at 10 am conducted by Rev. Jason McNaughten. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , Memphis, TN.
