Jeanette Jean Morris Eisworth

Jeanette (Jean) Eisworth, 88, a native of Mount Hermon, LA and a resident of Greenwell Springs, LA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 3, 2014. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her passions were family and her country. She was a wonderful cook and gardener and generously shared those talents with friends and family. She was particularly devoted to the causes of Veterans and native American children. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church from 5PM until 8PM and continuing on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 9AM until time of services at 11AM. Interment will follow in Greenwell Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Jean is survived by her children: Donna Rae Eisworth Roberts, Deborah Anne Eisworth Sullivan, Janie Lou Eisworth Frickie, and Kenneth Steve Eisworth; siblings: Naomi Blouin, Evelyn Riley and Alvin Morris; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Jean is preceded in death by Kenneth Ray Eisworth her husband of 62 years; parents Tilmer and Irene Morris; siblings: Clinton Morris, Daisy Moak, Dixie Eisworth, and Huey Morris. Jean was a long time faithful member of Greenwell Springs Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's honor to the Greenwell Springs Baptist Church Building Fund. Her family is grateful for the legacy of faith, love, and laughter that Jean and Ray imparted.
