Jeffrey Brian Vicari

Jeffrey Brian Vicari unexpectedly passed away on September 18 2025 at his home. He just celebrated his 68th birthday two weeks prior with his loving children and grandchildren on September 3. In the wake of his sudden passing, his siblings, children, and grandchildren worked tirelessly to honor his memory and mourn his loss. Jeff was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La by his mother and father Juanita and Frank Vicari. He was the third child of four: Pam (Bill), Vince (Roberta), Jeff, and Tina (Richard). Jeff exhibited a life of academic excellence and a hard work ethic, graduated from Catholic High and LSU with a Bachelor of Science in 1979. He was beloved and highly respected by his colleagues at the Louisiana Department of Revenue. In his forty year career as a Computer Specialist, he contributed invaluable work to the state of Louisiana. His compassion, intelligence, and hard work ethic live on through his children. Jeff leaves behind an amazing legacy of seven children: Aaron (Amber), Kristin (Nicolas), Michael (Courtney), Katie, Stephen (Trisha), Matthew, and Austin and seven grandchildren: Zachary, Zoe, Myka, Courtlynn, Sandro, Sasha, and Francesca. Jeff was best known as a loving father and grandfather. His profound culinary skills were a vehicle to bring his children and grandchildren together. As a connoisseur of whiskeys, he loved sharing a glass with his sons to catch up on books, football, or the latest show. Jeff was the emotional center of his family and his house was always open to his children. He wanted nothing more than to spend time with his children and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Mercy on September 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.
