Jenny Lynn Martin, 23, was an office manager for a construction company until she was diagnosed with cancer in 2005. A native of Miami, Fla., she died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at her home in Maringouin. Visiting at the Nativity Episcopal Church parish hall in Rosedale on Thursday, Sept. 20, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Service at the church on Friday, Sept. 21, at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Miller Armstrong. Survived by her parents, Sharon Brown Martin and Darrell Martin of Maringouin; brother, Joshua Leonard Martin of Maringouin; nephew, Lance Dragon of Tickfaw; special friend, Chad Free of Maringouin; and paternal grandmother, Edith Martin of Hooker, Okla. Preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Leonard Martin; maternal grandparents, Frank P. and Jeanette Andre Brown; and maternal great-grandmother, Lena Andre Ardoyne.
