A resident and native of Baton Rouge, he went home to heaven Wednesday, June 2, 2010, in Baton Rouge. He was 53. Survived by his mother, Carrie Ann Ragusa; sister, Mary Ann Schmidt; brother, Sidney J. Schmidt; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter A. Ragusa. Memorial service will be held Friday, June 4, at 3 p.m. at the home of Mary Ann Schmidt, 7300 Rougon Road, No. 18, Erwinville, conducted by the Rev. Shawn of Sharon Baptist Church.
