

John “Shelby” Roshto passed away at home on Saturday, September 20, 2014 surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 59 years old. Shelby was the owner of Roshto Electric Co., Inc. and was retired from IBEW Local Union 995. He is survived by his wife Donna Davis Roshto, son William Ross Roshto; mother Laura McQuiston Roshto; sister Susan Roshto; brothers Keith Roshto and Robert Roshto; as well as many other family members. He shared a very special relationship and was affectionately known as “Bubby” to his nephew Dr. John Thomas Roshto and wife Sarah, and his nieces Macy and Madelyn Roshto. He was very proud of the accomplishments of his son, nephew and nieces. He is preceded in death by his father, John Frank “Babe” Roshto; and mother-in-law and father-in-law Christine and Alton Davis. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 5pm until 9pm and continue on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 9am until service at 12pm. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Services will be conducted by Rev. Bill Boulton. Pallbearers will be William Ross Roshto, Dr. John Thomas Roshto, Keith Roshto, Robert Roshto, Donnie Noland and Bobby Roshto. A special thanks to Dr. Michael Castine and staff of the Hematology/Oncology Clinic and St. Joseph Hospice for the care given to Shelby.
