
A welder with Quality Welding, he died Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at his residence in Baton Rouge at the age of 32. He was a native of Baton Rouge and a graduate of Belaire High School. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., was on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Denham Springs on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Vincent Defresne, celebrant. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Danielle "Dondi" Strickland Spayde; son, Caden Joseph Spayde; parents, Reavis Lee Spayde and Carolyn Louque Spayde; sister, Angele Cangelosi and husband Frank E.; grandparents, Joseph P. Louque Sr. and Gladys D. Louque, of St. Gabriel; mother-in-law, Mayce Strickland; brother-in-law, Randy Strickland; sister-in-law, Stephanie Strickland; uncles, Joseph P. Louque Jr., of Baton Rouge, John A. Spayde, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Bobby R. Spayde, of Long Beach, Miss.; aunts, Peggy L. Hart, of Baton Rouge, Faye Spayde, of Long Beach, Carolyn Spayde, of Gulfport, Miss.; nephews, Frank E. Cangelosi Jr., Nicholas Cangelosi and Beau Comeaux; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cleve L. Spayde and Delphine B. Spayde, who were of Long Beach. Pallbearers will be: Frank E. Cangelosi Jr., Mike McHugh, Brad Broussard, Drew Hart, Cliff Depew and Randy Strickland. Honorary Pallbearers are: Sean Spayde, Nicholas Cangelosi and Kurt Landreneau. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Denham Springs.
