A resident of Baton Rouge passed away at Baton Rouge Health Care Center at the age of 81. She cherished her time as a teacher. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, from 5 PM until 9 PM and will resume Thursday, December 29, 2011, at 8 AM until religious service at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dudley Henderson, Sr. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Dudley Jr. and D’Alice Henderson, Ronald and Jeannette Henderson, and Judy and Robert Roche; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert Roche, Jr., Wayne and Bobby Ardoin, Mike Crawford, Kory Henderson, and Mike Herpich, and Felix Lavergne will by an honorary pallbearer.
