Judy McQueen Fox

Judy McQueen Fox peacefully passed away, surrounded by family at her home, on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the age of 78. Judy and Don were married on July 31, 1965, in Belle, MO. In their 60 years of marriage, they resided in 9 states, Louisiana twice. She had numerous jobs throughout her career as an administrative professional. In 2016, after 19 years of service, she retired from Womans’ Hospital in the Managed Care Department. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing and gardening. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Judy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Don; children, Michelle Heughan (Chet), and Matthew Fox (Melissa); grandchildren, Makaley Nash (Cory), Makenzey Heughan, McCord Heughan, Emily Fox, and Will Fox; sisters, Darleen Kopfer (Larry) and Janie Ridenhour; sisters-in-law, Robin Fox, LouAn Graub, and Trudy Houston; brothers-in-law, Doyle Fox and Leo Roberson; and a host of other loving family members. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Beulah McQueen; sister, Dorthaleen Robison; nephews, Chester Fox and Robert Fox; brothers-in-law, Mike Ridenhour, Larry Fox, Jesse Robison, Lloyd Burden, and Greg Houston; and sisters-in-law, Carolyn Roberson, Linda Burden, and Meredith Fox. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 2pm until the time of memorial services at 2:45pm. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
