A resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at Ochsner Medical Center-Baton Rouge. She was 91. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. until service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by a daughter, Joan Cockerham; son, Jack Jerome Jr.; three sisters, Eunice Brignac, Gladys Duplessis and Sarah Delatte Russell; and two grandchildren, Lauren Cockerham and George Ace Jerome. Preceded in death by her husband, Jack Jerome Sr.; parents and three brothers. The family would like to thank friends and relatives for their care and support.
