Kathleen Gay McLean

Kathleen Gay McLean went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the age of 79. She was the beloved wife of Donald H. McLean, Sr. for 59 years. She was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Olive Ann Raborn. Kathleen is survived by her two children; Stacey McLean and Donald McLean, Jr. (Triny). She was the loving grandmother of Chase McLean Wysinger, Karlee Kathleen Wysinger, Cooper Isaac Guidry and the late Cody Michael Wysinger. Kathleen was the sister of Sylvia Alonzo (Ray) and the late Joseph Raborn, Jr. (Louise) and Richard Raborn (Sharon), along with a host of nieces and nephews. Kathleen was a devout Catholic who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her sister, who was her best friend. She enjoyed camping, trips to Tennessee, and cooking, always buying the latest kitchen gadgets. As a young lady, Kathleen enjoyed attending the CYO dances. In recent years, she looked forward to her Piccadilly lunches with her sister and brother in law. Kathleen retired from Stanocola Medical Center, where she was a nurse for many years.

Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70815 on Friday September 27th, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
