Kathy Lunt, of Prairieville, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 57, born in St. Louis, Mo., to Sidney and Marlene James. She moved with her family to Pensacola, Fla., where she attended high school and college. She later moved to Baton Rouge, where she met and married her husband of 19 years, Phillip Lunt. She is survived by her husband; mother, Marlene James; brother, Kent James and wife Susan Richarme James; as well as many beloved relatives and friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude to J. Benton DuPont, M.D., the critical care staff at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and special friends, Robyn, Shelly, Tina and Tony and Paula. Her service was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m., with visitation from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
