Kenneth Dale Wilson

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Kenneth D. Wilson, age 65, who departed this life peacefully on April 5th, 2026, at Ochsner Medical Center Baton Rouge, surrounded by his family. Born on July 19th, 1960, in East Baton Rouge, he was a loving father, a loyal brother, and cherished friend. Known for his genuine kindness, love for animals, and incredible memory, he built a life anchored in hard work, generosity, and making sure his family was cared for. Kenneth was a joy to his family and a mentor to many.

He is survived by his children, Jason Scott, Sarah Kirby, and Kayla Wilson; his grandchildren, Hunter Gomez, Jordan Padgett, Aiden Kirby, Alyssa Pagett, Milo Scott, Asher Kirby, and Pippa Scott; and his siblings, Caroline Lyons, Suzanne Cain, Cindy Tidwell, and Tommy Wilson who will forever carry his legacy in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas A. Wilson Sr. and Catherine M. Wilson.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life to be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alpha-1 Foundation in his memory.
