Kevin Paul Rozas MD

Kevin passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the age of 49 after a brief illness. Kevin was born in Freeport, Texas and grew up in Baton Rouge, LA. He graduated from Tara High School, LSU, and LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans, and Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he specialized in Urology. Kevin resided in Atlanta, GA and practiced Urology there for the past 20 years. He had a great sense of humor and compassion for people and animals. He enjoyed tennis and cooking in his spare time. Kevin is survived by his parents, T. Paul and Emma Lee Rozas of Baton Rouge; siblings, Tracey Rozas McGoey, and husband, John, Angela Rozas, and Glen Rozas; nephews, Chuck and Sean McGoey. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Elnora Rozas, and Jerome and Mary Dell Tassin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Baton Rouge from 9 a.m. till memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
