Kevin Marshall Smith passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021, at the age of 34. He was a native and longtime resident of Gonzales, LA. Kevin was an awesome drummer and loved to jam with his friends. He had a GREAT sense of humor and always put a smile on people's faces. Kevin never met a stranger. He absolutely LOVED his nieces and nephews and looked forward to spending time with them. Kevin is survived by his father, Eric Nolan Smith and wife, Sally Zeller; siblings, Jeremy Paul Smith and, Stacey Lynn Smith and fiancé, Marshall Rambin; grandmothers, Mary "Kathleen" Janis and Sylvia Madonna Rivet; nieces and nephews, John Michael, Lexie, Kylie and Bryce; and a host of other loving family members. Kevin is preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Marie Janis; grandfathers, Michael Janis and David Smith. A memorial service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 15208 Highway 73, Prairieville, LA, on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 1:00pm.
