Kyle Joseph Scallan passed away at age 29 in West Palm Beach, Florida, January 20, 2016. Kyle was born July 22, 1986, in Baton Rouge, LA. He was an Account Manager at Oxford International in West Palm Beach, FL. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Thompson Scallan, Baton Rouge; his father, Edward "Jay" Scallan, Ethel; his sister Rebecca Scallan Marzouwanian, Baton Rouge; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Gulino Scallan, Baton Rouge; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents. Visitation and celebration of his life will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70815. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the order of: "Kyle Scallan Donation Account" at Chase Bank by check or money order. Cash, checks or money orders will be accepted during visitation. All funds received will be donated to the future Northeast Addictions Treatment Center in Boston, MA, which will open in April 2016 for "KYLE'S BED," which will be offered to those who otherwise would not be able afford treatment.
