
A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Hammond, she passed away at 5 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe. She was 86 and the widow of Vincent B. Fresina. She is survived by two daughters, Frances Pietri, Prairieville and Lucille Fresina, Marion, N.C.; a sister, Vicki Pizzolato, Chicago; grandchildren, Amy, Christian and Karyn Brown and Melissa and Anna Pietri; and great-grandchildren, Cameron Brown, Allison Templet and Aiden Guillot. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Annie, Mary and Marie; and a brother, Tony. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., was on Tuesday, Dec. 30, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m. Visiting at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave., on Wednesday after 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Myles Walsh. Entombment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Jewell Futch, Rylan Futch, John Hamilton, Harold Amerson, Christian Brown and Patrick Walsh.
