Leona Rice, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015 at the age of 95. The day she graduated high school was the same day that she married her husband of 60 years, James E. Rice, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Miller and Leona White. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park.
