
A wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker, Lillian St. Romain passed away on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, at 5:55 a.m.atBaton Rouge GeneralMedicalCenter. She was born on Feb. 25, 1939, in Marthaville, and was a resident of Brusly. She is survived by her husband, Evis St. Romain; and her children, Emmett Worley and wife Elaine, Billie Hunter and husband Jim, Bobbie Aillet, Loretta Jackson and husband Jimmie, Darlene Hemminger, Denise Seymor and husband Mickey, Roxane Smith and husband Earl, and Rhonda Lamana and husband Morris. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren, Alicia, Amanda, Carrie, Holly, Cory, Kristy, Heather, Emmett Jr., Jessie, Daniel, Hunter, Kimi, Allen III, Trey, Chip, Brian, Christie, Wendell, Kristal, Lacey, and Buddy; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kitty Cash and Wilhelmina Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalford and Nora Davis; and a grandson, John Jason Aillet Sr. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Monday, Feb. 5, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Visitation resumes in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Matt Dupuy. Entombment inSt.John theBaptistCatholicChurchCemetery, Brusly. Serving as pallbearers will be Jim Hunter, Jimmie Jackson, Chip Seymour, Brian Seymour, Troy Maranto and Allen Aillet III.
