

Lolin "Roland" Louviere, Jr., lovingly known as Roland, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born on September 1,1946, in New Iberia, Louisiana. In 1971, he moved to Central, LA where he and his beloved wife built a life and raised their two children. Lolin dedicated 40 years of service to Insulation Sales and Service, beginning his career as an insulator and retiring as Field Superintendent—a testament to his hard work, integrity, and leadership. Following his retirement, Lolin fulfilled his dream of settling on Belle River, in Pierre Part, Louisiana, where he enjoyed the peaceful life, he had long envisioned. He enjoyed bass fishing, was an avid LSU fan who loved to tailgate in his earlier years, and spending cherished time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jeanette Marie Louviere of Vinton, LA; Son, Louis James Louviere (Rhonda); Grandchildren, Tyler James Louviere (Taylor), Chelcie Nicole Harrington (Hunter), Louis Brady Louviere, and Noah Michael Louviere; and Great Grandchildren, Haidyn, Halleigh, Huntlie, Brooks, Colt, and Jett. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lolin and Bertha Louviere, his son, Lolin Louviere, III, and his granddaughter, Meagan Michelle Louviere.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA. on Saturday September 20th, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held from11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
