
Louis E. Barcelona Sr. was brought into this world on July 11, 1935, then taken to a better everlasting place with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009. His hand was held continuously by Dorothy "Dot" Gagliano Barcelona, his junior high school sweetheart and devoted wife for more than 55 years. He has left a legacy of four generations which include four sons, two daughters, five grandsons, two granddaughters, two great-granddaughters and a great-grandson. Survived by four sons, Russell R. Barcelona, Louis E. Barcelona Jr., Tyrone L. Barcelona and Larry C. Barcelona; two daughters, Vickie Arnold Barcelona and Dena M. Barcelona; five grandsons, Jesse Barcelona, Brandon Arnold, Keaton Morvant, Blane Arnold and Brennan Blouin; granddaughters, Kasey Arnold Faul and Brittany Barcelona; great-grandchildren, Christen, Jaycee and Alec Barcelona; many other loved ones, including Miranda, Odie, Tonya, Kristie, Gwen, Grant; and numerous other family members and friends who were with him in his final moments. Also survived by his brother, Russell Lee and spouse Arlene Barcelona; and sister, Mary Arden and spouse Jim Pinell. Preceded in death by his father, Russell "Roe" Barcelona; and mother, Mabel McMills Williams. He was a 1954 graduate of Catholic High School. He started Triangle Realty Co. in 1958 and has proudly run a family-owned business for more than 50 years. He was once a big duck hunter with his sons until he took up bass fishing with four of his best friends, Clark Taylor, Paul Mussleman, Bill McMills and Web Taylor. Wake at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, Sept. 23, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass at 11 a.m., followed by a funeral procession to Roselawn Cemetery. Louie and Dorothy worshipped the Lord since 1963 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, where Louie recently became an usher. >
