Louis Mitchel Landry, Jr., (“Mitchel”), a resident and native of Baton Rouge, passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 76. He has now found peace from a disease that had burdened him most of his adult life. Mitchel is survived by his brother, Steven Y. Landry and wife Myra; nephew, Brandon Landry and wife Caroline; and nieces, Leah Landry, Camille Saltz Babin and Dorothy (“Dottie”) Saltz O’Neal. Mitchel was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Mae Yates Landry and Louis M. Landry, Sr.; his brother, Paul J. Landry; and sister, Elise Landry Saltz.
