
Louise Stubbs Jones, a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, died Saturday evening, Nov. 17, 2007, at St. Clare Manor. A native of Mize, Miss., she was 88. She is survived by a son-in-law, Dr. Thomas Brill Heflin; three grandchildren, Thomas Brill Heflin II, Jennifer Heflin Shaw and Charles Frederick Heflin; two great-grandchildren, Brice Thomas Heflin and Linda Megan Shaw; and a half sister, Emogene Stubbs. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Adams Jones; beloved daughter, Linda Jones Heflin; father, James Franklin Stubbs, and mother, Lola Little Stubbs; two sisters, Anne Stubbs Smith and Thelma Stubbs Huguet; brother, William Perry Stubbs; and two half sisters, Mary Nell Shore and Jimmie Lee Bankston. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Wednesday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Chris Andrews. Interment at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Webb, William Stubbs, Wayne Brogdon, John Spiller, Hal Shaw and Edgar E. Spielman Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Gibbens and Chuck Schwing. Mrs. Jones belonged to the Fais Do Do and Revelers organizations. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge.
