
A "mom" in the truest sense of the word, she passed away peacefully on our Lord Jesus' birthday, Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was born on Feb. 9, 1936, in Houston, graduated from San Jacinto High School, where she was a cheerleader, attended Baylor College and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin. Visiting at First Presbyterian Church on Friday, Dec. 28, from 8 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Her parents, Rosabel and Edwin V. Hanson, preceded her in death. Survived by her husband of 48 years, Dr. Richard Milburn Nunnally; son, James Nunnally and wife Dr. Donna Nunnally; three daughters, Dr. Susan McNamara and husband Price McNamara, Laura Saurage and husband Hank Saurage, and Sara Sylvest and husband Michael Sylvest; and eight grandchildren, Elissa and Tori Nunnally, Stephanie, Bennett and Christopher McNamara, Maddox Saurage, and Lucy and Ella Sylvest, all of Baton Rouge. She loved being with all the members of her Bible study group, was a member of La Tertulia and Morning Callers and was a sustainer of the Baton Rouge Junior League. The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to Dr. Gerald Miletello and his staff for the intense caring over the last several years, as well as Hospice of Baton Rouge for their care over the last several weeks.
