
A resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died at 12:40 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009. He was 84 and a U.S. Army veteran. Visiting at St. George Catholic Church on Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Greg Daigle. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret Pizzolato Cusimano; a son, LJ Cusimano and wife Cathy Hebert Cusimano; a sister, Laura Cusimano and husband Rosario; sister-in-law, Juanita Brown Cusimano; brother, Nick Cusimano and wife Alice Grasso Cusimano; and two grandchildren, Luke "Trey" Cusimano and Travis Cusimano. Preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Nancy Territo Cusimano; brothers, Antonio Cusimano, John and wife Mildred Hebert Cusimano and Cero Cusimano; and sisters, Lena Cusimano, Mary Cusimano, Giovania and husband Charles Alello, Ann and husband Bernard Bellina, and Josephine and husband Peter Russo. Pallbearers will be Luke "Trey" Cusimano, Travis Cusimano, Marlon Frederickson, Patrick Aucoin, Bernard Bellina and Anthony Martina. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Cusimano, Michael Martina, James Pizzolato and Phillip Pizzolato.
