Lurline Roye passed away at home on January 20, 2016. She was 92 years old, a native and longtime resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She was a devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of Jefferson Baptist Church. Lurline is survived by two brothers, E. L. (Leo) Brown and Lenox Ray Brown. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Dora Lee Brown and Norma Varnado Fussell and many nieces and nephews. Lurline was preceded in death by her husband Archie O. Roye, and mother and father Belle and Enoch Brown. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on January 23, 2016 from 10 AM until the funeral service at 12 PM. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank Clarity Hospice and Debbie Brown and Heather Meadows for their loving care and support.
