Maggie Barrow Polito left this Earth on the wings of the angels on Thursday, March 3, 2011, at age 83. She is now dancing in heaven with the love of her life, Joseph Polito. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma Hatcher Barrow and John Walton Barrow; and sister, Emily Barrow Andre. Maggie is survived by a sister, Louise Barrow Hastings and husband Bob Allen; daughters, Jody Bailey and husband Jeff, Glenda Peavy and husband Tommy, and Peggy Polito and Michael Poulsen; grandchildren, Shelly and husband Chan Jin, Trevor Bailey and wife Mellie, Holly Peavy, and Austin Peavy and wife Emily; great-grandchildren, Jordan Jin, Kaden Jin, Rafe Bailey and Wade Bailey; and devoted companion of 21 years, Pershing "Foots" Giblin. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd. on Sunday, March 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
