Marian Marcelline Michael Levert

Marian Michael Marcelline Levert, a native of Hartford City, IN and resident of New Roads, passed away Friday August 22, 2014. Marian was co-owner of Island Hardware and Marine and a WAVE with the U.S. Navy. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 11am until funeral services in the chapel at 1pm. Burial will follow at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Michael and Carolyn Ann Levert and Daniel Joseph and Sheryl Ann Levert; three sisters, Maxine Slentz, Juanita Schuppener and Nancy Binegar; two brothers, Charles P. and Jerry J. Michael; two grandchildren, Jason Levert , Leslie Levert Markovic and the father of their children, Bo Markovic; and two great grandchildren, Anjali and Maelle Markovic. Preceded in death by her husband, Harris Joseph Levert, Jr. and parents, Freedith Gae and Thelma Lucile Waters Michael. She was a graduate of Harrison High School and loved to travel and play games with family and friends.
