A resident of Pride and a native of Baton Rouge, she died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, at Lane Regional Medical Center, Zachary. She was 62 and a retired office assistant. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Ted J. Wells. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. She is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Amber Carlock and husband Mel Vernon; son, Keegan Shea Carlock and partner Melicia Lemoine; three sisters, Winona Bolen, Libby Voyles and Janice Caston and husband Ernie Caston; and four grandchildren, Ravin and Pacie Vernon, Zae Williams and Shelby Carlock. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, John David Roberts; son, Kerry Ryan Carlock; and parents, Hugh Kelly and Katie Johnston Kelly. She was a member of Grace Family Church, Pride.
