A native and resident of Baton Rouge, she died Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was 80. Survived by her two daughters, Karen Maczewski and husband Robert, of New Orleans, and Wendy Schenck and husband Frank, of Biloxi, Miss.; and three sons, Daniel Cotten and wife Mona, of Baton Rouge, Kendall Cotten and wife Christina, of Dallas, and Chris Cotten and wife Jennifer, of Houston. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold K. Cotten; mother, Laura Claire Wood; and brother, Edward H. Wood. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Friday, Sept. 17, from noon until memorial service at 1 p.m.
