

A native of Natchez, MS, and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at the age of 77. A retired kindergarten teacher in East Baton Rouge Parish, she was a parishioner and former CCD teacher at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She enjoyed attending her exercise class and volunteering at the Guest House. She was an avid, lifelong reader and a lover of crossword puzzles. She is survived by her children Chris Fair and daughter-in-law Luciana of Castro Valley, CA, Laine Gambrell and son-in-law Mike of Slidell, LA, Jennifer Crain of Slidell, LA, and son -in-law Brian Crain of Walker, LA, and by her grandchildren Alex Fair, Hannah and Kyle Gambrell, and Corey Crain. She is also survived by her brothers James Marlow, Jr. and sister-in-law Charlotte of Natchez, MS, Thomas Marlow and sister-in-law Donna of Big Spring, TX, and Robert Marlow and sister-in-law Alice Ruth of Bossier City, LA. She is also survived by her brothers in law, Percy Fair and Robert Bradford and sisters in law, Maxie Fair and Fran Fair and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Thelma Marlow, her husband James Fair, her son Steve Fair, and her sister Edna Carolyn Bradford. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 20 from 5-8 PM and resume on Friday, Dec. 21 from 10AM until services at 12 PM. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
