
A retired construction supervisor for Williams Brothers Construction Co. with 47 years of service in that industry, he died at 1:37 a.m.Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at Our Lady of theLakeRegionalMedicalCenter. He was 87, a resident of Denham Springs and a native of Hickory. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, Jan. 5, from 9 a.m.until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Jerry Blackwell. Interment inGreenoaksMemorial Park. He is survived by two daughters, Cathy Stafford and husband Jerry, and Melissa Brenwood; a son, Reese Craddock; sister, Prim Bean, Eustis, Fla.; five grandchildren, Scott Stafford and wife Angelle, Shane Stafford and wife Michele, and Ashlyn, Chad and Callie Cooper; six great-grandchildren, Garrett, Ashton and Gage Stafford, Lauren and Tyler Bezar and Ryan Stafford; two special nieces, Cleo Pecot of Mandeville and Gail Haynes of Merritt Island, Fla.; and his beloved canine best friend, Peanut. Preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Darlene Clark Craddock; a sister, Mabel; and a brother, Elliott. Pallbearers will be Jerry, Scott and Shane Stafford, Chad Cooper, David Anderson and Jerry Cooper. He was a member ofWinbourneAvenueBaptistChurch.
