Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. On Thursday, August 5, 2021, Mary Beth Crochet (Miller) gained her wings at home with her loved ones surrounded by her. Mary was 58 and a resident of Central City, LA. She was independent, strong willed, had a hard outer shell, but loved unconditionally. Even from a small child she loved the outdoors, whether it was playing sports, tinkering in her flowerbeds or putting her toes in the sand, as long as the sun was shining down on her. Mary’s life would seem too short to many, but those who knew her understood that the quality of life far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, and nonna that will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Mary is survived by her father, Cecil Miller; two daughters, Fallyn Brumfield (Steven) and Kayla Crochet; son, Brian Crochet (Karen); her grandchildren, siblings and many more family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael “Keith” Crochet; mother, Bessie Lee Knight Miller; grandmother, Vera Gore; sister, Betty Miller Buhler; and daughter, Michelle Crochet McLin. Her journey does not end here. We know she is reunited with her husband, in his arms, dancing for eternity until we see them again. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florid Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Friday, August 13, 2021, from 9:30AM until the time of memorial services at 11:00AM. The family would like to extend special thanks to the care givers and medical staff for all of your support. Family and friends are invited to sign the online guestbook at www.greenoaksfunerals.com
