Mary Earle

Charlotte Mary Davis Earle was born August 28, 1930, with twin sister, Marjorie Davis Forbes, in Poplarville, MS. She passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the age of 94. Mary graduated from Istrouma High School in 1948, married Nolan Hunter Earle in 1954, raised their three children, enjoyed the company of family and her many friends. Mary’s extended family at Grace Baptist Church was one of her many joys of life, where she was a member for 70 years. Mary is survived by her children, Michael Earle (Maria), Carole Neuner (Tony), and Julie Schreiber (Steve); grandchildren, Camille and William Neuner; sister, Saranell Babin; and a host of family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mary’s companion and caregiver, Audrey Thomas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Hunter Earle; parents, James A. Davis and Leona Webb Davis; sisters, Virginia Vaccaro, Dora Prather, and Marjorie Davis Forbes; and brothers, Carroll, James, and Jewell Davis. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 12pm until the time of funeral services at 2pm. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s name to a charity of your choice.
