Mary-Ellen Regina Mansur

She was born in Baton Rouge, LA, in 1955, graduated from Tara High School in 1972 and enjoyed being a cheerleader for the school. She was a dedicated employee of Preferred Title for many years. Mary was also a dedicated member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She was a very caring and considerate person, loving mother, devoted daughter and sister. She was strong in her faith, relentlessly giving, and a friend of Bill W. for 38 years. Mary is survived by her son, Micah; mother, Marilyn; brothers, Chuck, Mike (Kathy) and John (Mary L.); and numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary is preceded in death by her father, Charles and her sister, Misty. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Sunday, December 30, 2018, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. The rosary will be recited at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11441 Goodwood Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, December 31, 2018, from 10:00AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Micah Viccinelli, David James, Phillip Skillern, Dillon Matthews, Quinton Moore and Jonathan Ginn. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Mansur and Herb Ginn.
