

Mary Odeil Comeaux Guillot, 83, passed away on January 21, 2025. Mary was a loving mother, wife, daughter, aunt, and friend. She was a native of Baton Rouge, a graduate of Redemptorist High School, and a parishioner of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Mary's professional journey was marked by success, serving as the Director of the Exxon Credit Union for many years before retirement. Her dedication and leadership were an inspiration to many. She is survived by one grandson, Adam Rodney Tessmer. She is pre-deceased by husband Rodney Guillot, daughter Dawn Guillot Tessmer, son-in-law Edward Tessmer, grandson Evan Tessmer, and parents Virgie and Everett Comeaux.
Mary's life was enriched by the love and support of those around her. She enjoyed supporting her grandson Adam, especially during his performances with the CHS and LSU bands. She had a passion for planning parties and celebrating Mardi Gras. She was a proud supporter of grandson Adam in Krewe of Lyonnesse and her husband Rodney in Endymion. Mary and Rodney were King and Queen of the Southside Garden’s Mardi Gras celebration in 2018, a testament to their senior living community involvement. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Southside Gardens and their exceptional caregivers. A special mention goes to Nicole Hayes, who stood by Mary’s side for many years.
