Maxine Odette Dabadie Morgan a native and resident of Baton Rouge passed away Thursday May 30, 2013 at the age of 85. Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Gardens of Memory on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. Mrs. Morgan is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathy and Ed Henderson and Margaret J. Morgan, a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis Morgan and Susan Phillips, seven grandchildren, Tracie, Tripp, Shelley, Dana, Merry, Amanda, and Jeffrey, and nine great-grandchildren, and two sisters, June Dabadie and Janelle Landry. Preceded in death by her first husband, Jack E. Evans, Sr., second husband, Carl C. Morgan, son, Jack E. Evans, Jr., sister, Tootsie Simmons, and a brother, Joseph R. "Sonny" Dabadie, Jr. Maxine passed along her love of cooking, gardening, and fishing to her family. She was an amazing seamstress and talented in so many wonderful ways. Thank you mom for sharing these gifts with us.
