
A resident of Baton Rouge, he died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at 12:02 p.m. at his home. He was 75. Dr. Levy was a retired radiation oncologist and a member of the American Medical Association, Louisiana Medical Society and Baton Rouge Oncology Group. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Thursday, Feb. 10, was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes in the funeral home chapel Friday from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment in the Jewish Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Frankie McDonald Levy; three daughters, Marilyn Levy, Marcia Clarke, and Melanie San Angelo and her husband, Michael San Angelo; and three stepdaughters and their spouses, Katherine and Gordon King, Kim and David Boneno and Karen and Dr. Eric Melancon. He is also survived by a sister, Harriet Routman and her husband, Gilbert; two brothers, Elliot Levy and his wife, Sharon, and Michael Levy; granddaughter, Mandy Adkins; and seven stepgrandchildren, Lauren, Abby and Haleigh King, Brannon and Mary Jordan Melancon and Sydney and William Boneno. Preceded in death by his former wife, Frances Warner Levy; and parents, Harold and Bess Levy. Serving as pallbearers will be David Boneno, Eric Melancon, Blake Kinchen, Brannon Melancon, George Pierson, Phil White and Gordon King. Special thanks are expressed to Daisy Morris for the loving care she provided not just to Dr. Levy, but his entire family.
