Michael “Big Mike” Dewayne Landry passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the age 56. He was a native of Baton Rouge, LA, and a resident of Greenwell Springs, LA for most of his life. He was an avid outdoorsman and was a member of several different hunting clubs through the years. He enjoyed watching sports, going out and having a good time with his friends, especially on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Michael was a great cook and loved to share his talent with fundraisers, family and friends. He was a handyman and loved to tinker with mechanical engines. Michael is survived by his son, Matthew and wife, Katie; parents, Wayne and Nancy Landry; brother, Devin Landry and wife, Tammy; niece, Lacey Babin and husband, Daniel; nephew, Logan Landry; and a host of other family members and friends. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 11am until the time of funeral services at 2pm, officiated by Fr. Eric Gyan. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
