Michael “Mike” Keith Ransome passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at the age of 61. He was a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of New Roads, LA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a long-time season ticket holder for LSU baseball. Mike is survived by his son, Chris Ransome and wife, Toni; daughter, Jennifer Hurst and husband, Doug; grandchild, Andrew Keith; sister, Cindy LaCombe and husband, Donnie; brother, Greg Ransome; brother-in-law, Chris Joly; and numerous other family members and friends. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Therral and Lorraine Bueche Ransome; sister, Susan Joly. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Saturday, January 27, 2018, from 10:00AM until the time of funeral service at 2:00PM.
